350 diploma degree students participated in this year's graduation ceremony. Among them, the top 10 in the merit list were given gold medals in various categories and 3 were awarded the Chairman's Award. Jerin Tasnim Jeba of Computer Science and Engineering department won the best student award.

While speaking as the chief guest, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Mustafa Jabbar, told the students that your formal education has ended with the graduation ceremony. Now it's time to use your acquired education for the welfare of the country. It will be a great injustice and a great waste of concerted efforts of your parents, teachers and institutions if the education you have acquired is of no use to the society and the country. So, take a pledge today that you will try to give back to the country multiples of what you have received. You should also contribute to the formation of digital Bangladesh. The Minister expressed hope that Daffodil Polytechnic Institute will continue its development and progress.

The minister also said that Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman laid maximum emphasis on technical education immediately after independence. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working to build Smart Bangladesh through the implementation of Digital Bangladesh.

As the graduation ceremony speaker, former captain of the national cricket team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza told the students that life does not go according to your plan. Each of you may face highs and lows, hard and easy, and, sadly, at times many challenges and life may not be quite smooth sailing. How you handle both situations will determine your true level of success.

He also said, if you can't rise to the CEO position of a top multinational or smart corporate in your lifetime, that's not a problem either. What matters is whether or not you have already started the process of creating a more optimistic future. Whether or not your ability to adjust to changes and obstacles is cultivated through every lesson, lab session, class exam, project work or research, mid-semester and final exam you complete.

In his welcome address, Principal of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute KM Hasan Ripon said that Daffodil Polytechnic Institute has considered innovation as a catalyst in the education system and has ensured complete digital transformation of its academic system. We continue to strive to develop as a modern flagship institute, committed to access and equity and significantly working to meet the quality of teaching, learning, research and national and regional socio-economic needs.” The principal commented.

He added, "We are trying to create a comprehensive educational eco-system by ensuring access to all the support services and facilities that a Generation Z needs."
